Respite Night

Respite Night is an evening of fun for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Activities may include use of The Hive’s sports simulator, makerspace, and a/v room, as well as an assortment of arts and crafts projects. Caregivers can rest easy knowing that Hive staff are trained to provide personalized support for each individual. The Hive's respite services are provided through Parker Personal Care Homes (PPCH).

Eligibility

• SLS Waiver: The Hive's respite services are available to anyone on the Home and Community-Based Supported Living Services (HCBS-SLS) waiver. To bill the SLS waiver, The Hive/PPCH must first receive and process an individual's relevant service documentation such as their service plan, Medicaid ID, guardian paperwork, etc.

• Non-SLS Waiver (Douglas County only): Douglas County residents who are not on the SLS waiver can still participate in Respite Night through The Hive's scholarship program. Relevant documentation will still be required prior to services.
