Adaptive Services
Adaptive Services at The Hive
The Hive offers respite and specialized habilitation services for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. These services are provided through Parker Personal Care Homes (PPCH), which has provided supports for such individuals since 1995. At The Hive, we use PPCH's person-centered approach to create a safe, meaningful, and fun space for people of all abilities.
Respite Nights
The Hive's monthly Respite Night is an evening of fun for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Activities may include use of The Hive’s sports simulator, makerspace, and a/v room, as well as an assortment of arts and crafts projects. Caregivers can rest easy knowing that Hive staff are trained to provide personalized support for each individual.

February 28th, 2026, 4:00PM-7:00PM
-
March 28th, 2026, 4:00PM-7:00PM

Specialized Habilitation Day Program
The Hive’s Specialized Habilitation (Spec Hab) day program provides individuals with the opportunity to develop skills and explore interests in a supportive community center setting. The Hive’s Spec Hab program is offered Monday through Thursday, from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. Transportation to and from The Hive may be available.
Programmatic activities will be person-centered and designed to foster independence, creativity, and physical and mental well-being. Activities will make use of The Hive’s varied equipment and resources, including the makerspace, sports simulator, and A/V room. Support staff will assist program members with setting and working towards personal goals. Since The Hive is open to the public, individuals in the Spec Hab program will have opportunities to safely interact with fellow community members of all abilities.
